Meeting Rationale
To foster collaboration between the different European variable star organisations and improve Pro-Am collaborations.
Started in 2010 in Groningen (NL), 2013 in Helsinki (FI) and 2016 in Hamburg (DE), the 4th EVS meeting will be organized by the working group variable stars (VVS WVS), part of the Vereniging voor Sterrenkunde (VVS, Flemish astronomical organization). It will be held at the Public Observatory MIRA in Grimbergen close to Brussels, Belgium.
Science Programme
The program will consist of invited speakers and contributions from amateur astronomers and professionals alike.
A poster session could also be envisaged depending on the number of contributions.

Registration
The conference fee will include refreshments during coffee breaks.
Lunch will be organized at MIRA (cold lunch). Lunch tickets will be available at democratic prices.
A conference dinner is planned on Saturday evening in a nearby restaurant.

for registration to the conference will be August 15, 2019
for contributions to the conference program the deadline has been extended to Aug. 1, 2019
